Full-Time Clinical Documentation Coordinator in our Midtown Charlotte location. Ideal candidates will have previously worked in an office or healthcare environment and have knowledge of medical terminology. Candidates should have experience using moderately complex technology to perform job responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively with physicians, patients, and other related personnel. Excellent written and oral skills. Must be able to prioritize and organize work. Detail oriented personality. Must be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Essential Job Responsibilities: - Identifies upcoming new patient appointments.
- Reviews chart to determine records necessary for the provider to conduct a thorough appointment.
- Acquires imaging studies, labs, pertinent provider clinic notes, and conservative treatment records as required by pulling records from hospital record systems, communicating with other provider offices, and/or the patient.
- Tracks receipt of requested records.
- Communicates with clinical team within established timelines when record requests cannot be obtained.
- Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
- Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
- Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
