Job Title: Clinical Domain Data Architect
Location: Sleepy Hollow, NY (Hybrid 3 days a week)
This role for a pharmaceutical client expects a candidate with technical leadership backgroundand strong experience in designing the Data model, data products.
Core responsibilities include: Establishing a data architecture framework. Data architects determine the standards and principles that an organization s framework needs, then design it accordingly. Every aspect of a healthcare institution s operations patient data, vendors, staffing needs and more must be incorporated. Maintaining data within the framework. Data architects must enforce adherence to established standards. Integrity and organization must be handled appropriately through the full lifestyle of the data. Determining how data flows through organizations. Data architects identify which parts of the organization produce data, what type(s) of data it produces, and how tobest move the data through the system from one department to another. Knowledge of state-of-the-art Clinical and Pharma technologies and architecture patterns. Deep understanding of architecture data flows for Clinical and healthcare Technologies Able to engage with all levels of the organization and be proficient at building out clearly defined architecture patterns, diagrams, and strategies taking insights from discussions with stakeholders. Able to communicate and foster alignment across all levels of the organization. Build strong cross-functional relationships with team members in other enterprise functions like System Integrators, Enablement/Digital Leads, and Enterprise & Solution Architects. Strong ability to build external partnerships with industry partners and suppliers. Able to generate breakthrough architecture strategies and enable others to do so. Day-to-day decisions regarding the architecture standards for Enterprise Clinical & Medical digital solutions across organization globally.
Able to present issues and recommend solutions succinctly to Global, Senior, and Executive Management frequently.
Clinical Domain Data architect role would be to ensure that the information is managed, not just maintained, and is reliable, authentic, accurate, current and useful.
Requirements Proven Expertise: 12+ years of experience in data architecture, with a solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and modern data frameworks (e.g., DataBricks, Snowflake, Azure). Standards Conformance: Able to work with standards such as CDISC to manage the clinical information lifecycle Cross Analytics Experience: Able to construct cross study, cross modal data analysis, visualization, and interpretation. Experience to build self service and causal analytics and visualizations. Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams, fostering an environment of accountability and innovation. Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop strategies that align with long-term objectives. Problem Solving: Innovative and creative problem-solving skills capable of handling complex challenges. Experience: A career history that shows a trajectory of growth to high-level roles through significant contributions to business needs and technical innovations. Advanced Education: A minimum of a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees.
