Job: Clinical Education Coordinator Classification: Salaried/Exempt FLSA Category: Administrative Exemption Job Category: 2 Professionals Position Summary The Education Coordinator will work with leadership to develop, coordinate, present and evaluate education programs for orientation and work force development for providers and staff at TRMC and for the community. Essential Functions -Collaborates with Senior Leadership to prioritize educational needs. -Administers annual hospital-wide educational needs assessment. -Develops program content independently or in collaboration with established leaders/teams as appropriate to content and desired outcomes. -Ensures completion and collection of program evaluation and conducts analysis and report on effectiveness of each program. -Provides feedback regarding participant performance. -Works closely with local colleges to set up clinical training and other educational opportunities. -Serves as site coordinator for all Health.edu educational offerings. -Serves as resource for monthly continuing education offerings through various sources (Health.edu, Peak Medication, Age-Specific newsletters). -Provides physician and other allied staff with interactive activities through OSU Med Net 21 and Up-to-date participation. -Maintains records of all employee education, including AHA Training Site and Paycor report. -Serves as AHA Training Center Site Coordinator including record keeping, instructor renewal courses and instructor performance evaluation. -Coordinates with department managers to conduct annual skills fair for all clinical staff. -Educates department managers and coordinates training around Patient Experience initiatives throughout the year. -Chairs the Education Committee and holds a quarterly meeting to drive change and implementation of work originated from committee. -Works with Human Resources to maintain records of all employee education. -Works with program directors and clinic leaders to develop and implement targeted educational programs. -Advise on appropriate venue, tools, methods, and processes to support program objectives. -Reports to and depart from work on time and as scheduled. -Performs other duties as assigned. -Must be able to deal with stress while maintaining composure. -Performs other duties as assigned -Follows and adheres to TRMC vaccine policy(s) mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Work Experience -Knowledge of establishing goals and developing curriculum preferred. -Experience in effective oral and written communication preferred. -Experience in education or clinical experience preferred. -Proficiency in Microsoft office software and tools preferred. Education -Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, or related field preferred.
