Key Responsibilities:Clinical Assessments and Evaluations- Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including interviews, observations, and assessments
- Use standardized assessment tools and rating scales to gather information and identify symptoms
- Assess individuals' mental health, behavioral, or substance abuse issues
- Evaluate the severity of conditions and identify potential risks or concerns
Diagnostic Formulation and Recommendations- Develop diagnostic formulations and recommendations for treatment
- Identify appropriate levels of care, such as outpatient, inpatient, or residential treatment
- Recommend evidence-based treatments, such as therapy, medication, or support groups
- Develop personalized treatment plans that address individuals' unique needs and goals
Documentation and Communication- Maintain accurate and detailed records of evaluations, assessments, and treatment recommendations
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare providers
- Provide clear and concise explanations of evaluation findings and treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Professional Development and Training- Stay current with best practices, research, and emerging trends in clinical evaluation and treatment
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
- Attend workshops, conferences, and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry developments
- Pursue certification or licensure in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:- Minimum of Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field required.
- State licensure required for the location and practice including LP, PLP, LPC, PLPC, LCSW, LMSW, PLMFT, or PLMFT.
