AMFM Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Group Facilitator as part of our curriculum of care for clients at our PHP and IOP mental health treatment facility in Northern Virginia. AMFM Healthcare is looking for those who can effectively teach a group of clients how to learn and maintain a more stable life while undergoing their mental health treatment program. We are looking for those who have experience leading groups such as CBT, DBT, Trauma, Psychodrama, and any other subjects that pertain to the Mental Health Field or Addiction field. The Group Facilitator is a master's level clinician or substance use disorder professional that facilitates weekly group therapy sessions utilizing evidence based practices for our mental health program. Clinical Group Facilitators have experience working with acute clients that often have co-occurring mood disorders, substance use, and severe suicidal ideation. Compensation: Group Facilitator - $75,000-$80,000.Schedule: Monday - Friday ; 9:00am - 5:00pm.Location: This position will work out of our office right outside of Tyson's Corner. Benefits:

Clinical Group Facilitator Job Duties: The Clinical Group Facilitator facilitates group therapy sessions utilizing evidenced based practices for our mental health and/or trauma specific program. Applicants MUST have experience working with acute clients that often have co-occurring mood disorders, substance use, and severe suicidal ideation.
  • Facilitates groups within area of specialty (Clinical modalities such as CBT, DBT, etc)
  • Adheres to any and all Joint Commission and CA Licensing Standards
  • Is an effective team member as part of the overall program and clinical operations, and is able to communicate needs within and between departments effectively.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions during group sessions effectively.
  • Develop person-centered care plans, including prioritized problem lists, SNAP, client-reported goals, measurable and achievable objectives, and interventions. Identify and prioritize individual needs and problems.
  • Document client progress toward treatment plan goals and objectives in individual progress notes.
  • Develop solid transition and discharge plans and summaries for assigned caseload.
  • Prepare clinical documentation accurately and within agency time frames.
  • Intervene during crisis intervention situations..
  • Point of contact for families regarding clinical care
  • Participate in the agency's Quality Management system, Orientation, staff meetings, and in-service training.
  • Provide accurate assessment and referral when appropriate.
  • Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, training, and other activities, which ensure effective and efficient functioning of clinical operations.
  • Adhere to organizational standards and policies and procedures, code of ethics, legal aspects of clinical practice, professional standards, duty to warn, abuse and neglect reporting policies and procedures and exercise professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to assess for safety and provide appropriate interventions according to AMFM Policy and Procedure.
Education, Experience, License & Registration Requirements:
  • Minimum Education and License: Masters degree or equivalent degree in a mental health related field.
  • Preferred Education and License: RIC, Supervisee in SW, CSAC.
  • Hands-on experience in Groups (process, psycho educational), Family Therapy, Individual Therapy (wide range of modalities accepted), and working with clients with mental health and addiction issues.

  • Successful completion of Criminal Background Check through DBHDS, Background Investigation Unit, and VDSS Registry Searches, and ADP Selective Services Screening.
