Responsibilities:

The Informaticist position uses informatics knowledge and expertise, clinical and operation experience, critical thinking,research background, and leadership skills to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to promote quality care. Theposition engages with diverse teams (i.e. Operations, Information Technology, Epic, AMS, etc) at multiple levels of theorganization. The position works with stakeholders in the areas of evaluation, planning, development, andimplementation of new features, functionality, tools, and workflow.

Qualifications:

Required Licensure and Certifications

Must have valid license in clinical area of education.Epic Proficient or Credentialed in primary module within one year of hire.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills andAbilities

Minimum of two years experience in a clinical setting usingcomputerized EMR required.Ability to adapt to new or changing environmentsStrong critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with projects including planning, facilitating, andimplementation
