Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Informatics Specialist, you will facilitate the integration of nursing practice with data and information systems to improve the quality of patient care. This role will also be responsible for application building and support of all clinical solutions for the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Meditech Systems, and other clinical systems. You will collaborate with Meditech representatives and end users to ensure the system meets the organizations business needs. You will also perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical tasks associated with Meditech software. This is a full time opportunity reporting onsite in Chicago, IL with on call support as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Experience with Meditech required
  • Knowledge of Materials Management
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and other computer applications
  • Ability to comply with OSHA regulations and CDC standards
  • Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work.
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid drivers license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a can-do attitude
