Thank you for your interest in pursuing a career opportunity with Radiology Associates of Ocala! As a full-time Clinical Interviewer, you will prescreen MRI, Low Dose CT, and PET/CT patients, researching and obtaining information on implants, devices or recent procedures to ensure safety for their exam. You will also:
  • Pre-screens MRI, LDCT and PET/CT patients for their exam, gathering pertinent information from outside facilities regarding procedures and implanted devices. Obtain documentation for implanted devices and research for MRI safety.
  • Cross-references written order against scheduled appointments to assure the appropriate exam is scheduled, properly planned, and protocols followed. Contacts referring clinicians to clarify any discrepancies.
  • Ensures diagnosis is appropriate for the ordered procedure following established protocols. Researches and acquires additional medical history from referring clinician when diagnosis is appropriate. Documents history and symptoms appropriately in scheduling comments.
What you will need to be successful:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • A minimum of one (1) year related medical office experience
  • Medical terminology
  • Customer service skills a must
