The role involves performing routine and emergency tests on blood, serum, spinal fluid, and other body fluids using both automated and manual equipment. The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining QA and QC standards, solving technical issues, and managing specimen processing to ensure accurate, timely results.
Position Highlights:
- Shift: Night (12:00 AM - 8:30 AM) with alternating weekends
- Responsibilities:
- Perform testing using automated and manual equipment
- Ensure specimens are processed efficiently
- Review data and report abnormal or critical results
- Maintain quality control records and resolve QC issues

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a physical science or medical technology preferred
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or limited permit required
