BayCare Clinic Green Bay Eye Specialists is looking for a Clinical Manager to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. No Holidays! No Weekends! The Clinic: BayCare Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 20+ specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base.Each of our specialty practices have clinical autonomy and are financially sound. The Practice: We are a team of dedicated Ophthalmologists and Optometrists who exist to meet the ophthalmic needs of the people of Northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. BayCare Clinic Eye Specialists offers more specialty services than any other provider in northeastern Wisconsin and we are the largest Ophthalmology practice north of Milwaukee, with five locations in northeastern Wisconsin. We have a highly trained, collaborative team of ophthalmologists, most of whom specialize in one aspect of eye health. We have cornea, glaucoma, retina, pediatric and oculoplastic specialists.   • Responsible for the overall functions of the department.
  • Responsible for maintaining positive employee relations.
  • Establishes and implements performance standards and performance evaluations for staff.
  • Responsible for all program development with focus on the most current and advances techniques for optimal patient care.
  • Models and promotes optimal conditions for patient treatment with particular attention to issues of patient confidentiality, respectful care and customer service.
  • Provides leadership in development of clinic innovations in all areas of technology, patient care and service delivery.
  • Provides leadership, acts as a mentor to staff, providing coaching and counseling as needed
  • Assists with employee hiring and helps develop training programs and processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Coordinates staff schedules meeting both provider and staff requirements.
  • Ensures needs of patients and physicians are met to ensure efficient operation of all patient care areas.
  • Performs duties of direct report positions filling in when needed.
  • Respects and maintains confidentiality.
  • Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.
The Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in specialty-specific treatments and technology.
  • 7+ years of clinical and supervisory experience preferred
  • Ophthalmic clinic experience preferred.
  • Must have strong understanding of workflows in an ambulatory environment.
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with the software used at the practice site.
