Job Description: SCADD is currently seeking a compassionate full-time, licensed Clinical Manager at our Transitional House programs to provide clinical leadership and oversight, operationalize services, and ensure quality of treatment offered by Clinical andRecovery staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following as allowed by
  • Develops, implements and coordinates service provision, quality management, and utilization review in collaboration with supervisor.
  • Takesinitiative for planning and providing quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures and mandates of all regulatory agencies.
  • Provides clinical training to program staff to enhance skill level.
  • Responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of all clients, staff and visitors.
  • Responsible for compliance with all state and local health, safety, and fire codes, including life safety codes.
  • Ensures safety guidelines are in place and communicated to the clients and staff.
  • Interviews clients, reviews records, and confers with other professionals to evaluate condition of client as needed.
  • Performs direct care services as needed to meet contractual obligations and budgetary performance expectations.
  • All employees are expected to participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge necessary for the performance of duties.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises all programming staff of the assigned program, including clinical and recovery staff.Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write effective and compelling correspondence to support position and/or recommendations. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to employees, vendors, partners, and stakeholders of the organization. Requirements:* Fully Licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)*Bilingualism a Plus!$3,500 SIGN ON BONUS (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)- $1,750.00 upon hire and- $1,750.00 at the completion of 12 months of employment.Full-Time Positions Offer:

The Pines provides a structured recovery environment with a focus on the psychosocial aspects of treatment. Residents work on recovery skills, managing the signs and symptoms of relapse and making meaningful lifestyle changes. Under the direction of our skilled and experienced staff, residents learn to recognize their disease, prevent relapse, and develop skills for reintegration into the community. SCADD's Transitional Housing is a residential treatment program with locations in Norwich and New London, Connecticut. The program is designed to assist and support men and women in their sobriety. This program affords individuals the opportunity to apply learned recovery skills, prevent relapse and promote personal responsibility. Residents can reintegrate into educational, vocational, familial, and social structures.SCADD's Withdrawal Management program is a medically monitored withdrawal management and evaluation program delivered by medical and nursing professionals and enhanced by skilled clinicians and technicians. The services are delivered under a defined set of physicians monitored protocols. Twenty-four-hour nursing observation, medical monitoring and treatment are available on site. Counseling and case management services are available on site seven days per week.New Hire Orientation and Onboarding:If selected for employment with The Southeastern Council on Alcoholism & Drug Dependence, Inc., newly hired employees will be required to attend a mandatory New Hire Orientation which will take place at our Administrative Offices located on 321 Main Street, in Norwich, CT.
