Riverchase Dermatology, an AQUA Dermatology portfolio practice, is Florida's largest and most comprehensive full-service skin care provider in the Southeast, offering medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, vein care and radiation oncology. Founded in 1998, AQUA Dermatology is the Southeast's premier dermatology practice with over 100 locations throughout Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. From common rashes to skin cancer treatments, plastic surgery procedures to an array of vein treatments, no case is beyond our experience and expertise.

Our team has an immediate need for a Clinical Manager. The Clinical Manager is responsible for ensuring quality patient care and value based reimbursement programs, integrating healthcare delivery systems and technological innovations, developing a positive culture in work environments, focusing on preventive care, and monitoring the professional operations of the department.

Primary Duties

* Manages diverse clinical staff across offices, regions, and network (as needed).

* Plans, implement and evaluates hiring and orientation of all new clinical staff, matrix management relationship to medical assistant staff

* Demonstrates leadership skills, functions as team lead for clinical managers, and helps leadership ensure success of network wide clinical initiatives. Motivates others to engage in initiatives

* Manages daily staffing for all assigned locations and serves as resource to clinical managers to solve staffing issues

* Able to analyze clinical and patient workflows and data to provide efficiency solutions that maintain quality of clinical care.

* Assesses and evaluates clinical staff competency skills and assists with core competency skill evaluation and education

* In conjunction with providers and leadership, develops, implements and evaluates continuous improvement projects and continuous feedback loops

* Provide creative solutions to provider/staff and patient scheduling

* In conjunction with providers and leadership, provide clinical education including the creation and maintenance of clinical protocols

* Remains current on new network initiatives, protocols, technology, and value based reimbursement programs and assists in the socialization of these items

* Maintains a positive attitude, exhibits tact and diplomacy, remains flexible and nimble, shows critical thinking skills in decision making, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Handles and resolves patient complaints

* Assists regional director with business development opportunities, including acquisition or potential acquisition needs assessments

* Identifies cost saving opportunities in medical supply budget. Oversight of maintenance/purchasing of office equipment as needed

* Able to travel 80% of the time or greater with occasional overnight travel required

Skills and Qualities:

* Demonstrated competency in Electronic Health Records, Practice Management Software Systems, Financial or Bookkeeping Software, and Microsoft Office Suite of products

Experience and Education:

* Associates or Bachelor's Degree in nursing/clinical practice

* 3+ years of Clinical or Nurse management experience required
