Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Clinical Nurse Consultant ensures that all campuses provide superior standards of care and effective treatment, and operate in a fiscally responsible manner. The Clinical Nurse Consultant will be involved in shaping the larger healthcare system by serving as a mentor to nurse leaders and by systematically applying advanced knowledge of geriatrics and post-acute care processes to enhance profitability.Responsibilities
- Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.

- Responsible for on-call services, as assigned.
- Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
- Creating a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Developing and implementing objectives, policies and procedures.
- Performs quality assessment audits and evaluation of care delivery, communicating results with Administration/Operations on the activities/issues of Nursing Services.
- Assists alignment of policy and procedures with standards of practice and regulations.
- Assists in nurse leadership performance evaluations and development.
- Assists in the development and integration of nursing practice employee safety, risk management and corporate compliance initiatives.
- Supports the development and integration of new and innovative nursing care initiatives.
- Performs other duties, as assigned
Requirements
- Current license to practice in Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in post-acute / senior care services management and/or consultation.
- Advanced knowledge and clinical skills around long term care.Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
- Ability to relate well to all individuals.
- Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
- Ability to adapt to change.
