Job Overview - Clinical Nurse (RN/LPN):Our client is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse (RN or LPN) to deliver evidence-based patient care, prioritize patient needs, and support physician-directed treatment plans. This role offers flexible compensation based on licensure, focusing on wound care management, patient education, and comprehensive clinical support.Compensation: $38 - $55/hour (Dependent on Licensure)Location: Bronx, NYSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PMResponsibilities as the Clinical Nurse (RN/LPN):
- Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care following scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice standards.
- Assessments: Monitor patient conditions, identifying and responding to changes promptly.
- Order Execution: Accurately implement physician orders within required timelines.
- Wound Care: Educate patients and families on wound care techniques and management.
- Prioritization: Prioritize actions to reflect patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
Qualifications for the Clinical Nurse (RN/LPN):
- Education: Associate s degree in Nursing required (Bachelor s preferred for Magnet Hospitals).
- Experience: 1-3 years of Wound Care experience required (billing and coding knowledge is a plus).
- Licensure: Active RN or LPN license in New York State required.
- Certification: CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Additional: Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
