Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager in the Bronx, NY area to join our team. The Clinical Nutrition Manager will oversee the nutritional care of patients, manage a team of dietitians, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nutritional care plans for patients based on their medical condition, preferences, and nutritional needs.
  • Supervise and manage a team of registered dietitians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutritional plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to clinical nutrition services.
  • Conduct nutrition assessments, including evaluating patients' dietary intake, lab results, and medical history.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on nutrition-related topics.
  • Develop and deliver nutrition-related educational programs for healthcare staff and the community.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in clinical nutrition and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nutrition experience, with at least 1 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and clinical guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and nutrition software.
