Position Responsibilities:
* Supports the development of Capital Rxs autonomous pharmacy and therapeutics functions
* Interpret fiscal and operational needs to support Capital Rxs business goals
* Creates financial modeling to identify opportunities for rebate optimization and lowest net cost strategies
* Works cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to develops strategies and identifies opportunities for new or enhanced financial opportunities related to drugs/drug classes
* Creates and implements metrics and supports performance measures to establish rebate performance objectives
* Implements new processes and best practices related to formulary and rebate optimization
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
* Responsible for the adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree required
* Experience in managed health care or pharmacy benefit management
* Experience performing analyses on medical and pharmacy claims to identify opportunities for cost optimization
* Knowledge of data management and modeling
* Skilled in Excel
* Proven ability to work well and collaboratively, with multiple teams or departments for business growth or profitability goals
* Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily
* High attention to detail and a self-starter
* Commitment to delivering high quality work product
Preferred Qualifications:
* Advanced degree, preferred
* Experience with contracting negotiations, strategy development and contract redlining experience, preferred
Base Salary: $85,000 - $115,000
