JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Clinical Operations Supervisor to directly supervise sterile processing personnel during specified shifts, facilitating staff and departmental efficiencies while monitoring the clinic's daily operations to ensure that appropriate quality and productivity levels are achieved the appropriate supplies and equipment are ordered and maintained. Ensures compliance with infection control policies and AAMI, AORN, and Joint Commission standards. Assures compliance with infection control and sterilization standards, ensuring that sterilization practices and all equipment used for decontamination and sterilization meet quality standards. Assists staff with performance improvement. Supervisory responsibilities include staff selection, orientation/onboarding, performance evaluation, counseling, and staff development.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Work requires a bachelor's degree in biology, physiology, psychology or related scientific field.
Work requires four years of clinical technical experience to gain expertise in the principles, theories, procedures and equipment in the Endoscopy field. Prefer high level disinfection experience and supervisory experience.
Current certification as a Sterile Processing Technician through an accredited organization (CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Tech, HSPA, or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician CBSPD) required.
JOB HOURS
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
