Job Description The Clinical Supervisor - Outpatient Behavioral Health demonstrates advanced clinical expertise in the provision of a range of therapeutic services, psychoeducational programming and behavioral interventions to assist the client in achieving progress towards the goals and objectives of individualized treatment plans. Assesses and diagnoses mental health and/or substance use disorders through a bio/psycho/social department specific and evidenced based assessment identifying patient and family goals and needs. Integrates assessments using information related to cultural, clinical, ethnic, age and other factors into the plan of care while providing a range of therapeutic interventions, psychoeducational programming and behavioral interventions (when indicated) to assist the patient/family in achieving the goals and objectives of the individualized service plan. Responsible for oversight of daily operations related to clinical therapy and administrative functions, procedures and protocols. Supervises administrative operations, scheduling/registration, and direct patient care. Works collaboratively with physicians, therapists and other team members of the behavioral health team to effect timely, appropriate patient care management.Benefits and Perks:

- Supervises clinical operations and direct patient care.
- Assesses and diagnoses mental health and/or substance use disorders through a bio/psycho/social department specific and evidenced based assessment identifying patient and family goals and need. In the absence of the Director, may provide program/department/unit clinical leadership.
- Provides supervision to team members on communication skills, techniques and documentation.
- Assists in the hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members.
- Provides guidance and assistance to administrative team with logistical issues related to scheduling, billing, and patient relations.
Requirements for Consideration:
- Master's Degree - Behavioral Science and Health or Ph.D., PsyD, EdD in mental health, social work, counseling, substance use disorders or behavioral health related field or degree.
- Licensed Mental Health Specialist - Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), PhD or PsychD Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP).
- Three (3) years' Experience in in mental health/substance use disordered, psychoeducational programming including brief, targeted, evidence-based interventions (crisis intervention, trauma, integrative therapies). Demonstrated success as a clinical supervisor.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association within 3 months of hire. Crisis Prevention Institute within 6 months of hire.
