Job Description:
Supports Brand pharmacies in the development, administration, and evolution of services designed to assist customers in maintaining good health or improving current health conditions. PositionsBrand pharmacies to maximize performance-based reimbursements and/or mitigate performance-based fees. Areas of primary focus will include pharmacist/technician provided immunizations, medication therapy management, disease state management, point of care testing, and expanding the role of retail pharmacists in other clinical areas.
Responsibilities:
Develops clinical programs and services that measurably change customer behaviour in choosing good health or improving health while enhancing Brand pharmacy department financial performance.
Research and reviews state and Federal regulations on pharmacist administered services such as immunizations.
Reviews and edits clinical materials used in Brand pharmacy services offerings, such as immunization standing orders or other clinical protocols.
Responsible for flu vaccine ordering, liaising between the Brands and the manufacturers or suppliers.
Serves as primary point of contact with manufacturers and accounting to ensure invoices are paid on time and triggers inventory adjustments.
Provides monthly and as needed flu and vaccine reporting to the Brands. Works with various vendors to approve tasks or program reviews.
Troubleshoot and monitor vaccine reporting, and patient outbound communication.
Understands and prepares Brands to deliver against the needs of various health care organizations, payers, employers and governmental healthcare organizations.
Experience:
2 to 4 years of experience
Skills:
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's Degree, current US Pharmacist license with Immunization certification
