Feel The Pulse Of Amazing ThingsClinical Program Coordinator / Quality - RN - Cardiology – DaysAt NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, the Cardiology Clinical Program Coordinator collaborates with the care team to promote safe, quality care. Maintains current knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory standards. Manages Quality metrics and monitors progress on defined performance targets for Cardiology, identifying any barriers to achieving those targets. Implements all Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives. Collects and analyzes data from a variety of sources including internal and external benchmarking data, research findings and outcome data to enhance services and improve patient outcomes. Serves as clinical expert and resource for the education of peers and other health professional members. Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.This is a full-time, day shift position located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.Preferred Criteria
  • Cardiology experience
  • Quality management experience
Required Criteria
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current NY State Registered Nurse License
  • A minimum of 5 years of relative experience
  • Superior communication, demonstrated problem solving skills, strong business acumen, and interpersonal skills are critical
