Summary:
The Project Director is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and management of a patient-centered, innovative project within the organization. This role involves coordinating efforts with internal teams and external community partners to ensure that all activities align with the organization's values, mission, and strategy. The Project Director will oversee program development, staff hiring and training, care consultation, and compliance with grant and licensing requirements. Additionally, the role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of community resources, collaborating on performance improvement initiatives, managing revenue cycle activities, and ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care delivery. The Project Manager plays a crucial role in driving continuous quality improvement and ensuring the successful execution of the project.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the Project Manager for the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), both internally and externally and other projects as assigned.
* Project Management
* Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; create project timelines and milestones.
* Budgeting: Estimate costs, manage the project budget, and ensure financial resources are used efficiently.
* Team Management: Assign tasks, manage team performance, and ensure effective communication within the team.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and respond to issues as they arise.
* Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, generate reports for stakeholders, submit data to stakeholders/funder and ensure projects stay on schedule.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
* Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders, manage expectations, and communicate project status regularly.
* Operate effectively within a team approach, coordinating with community partners and colleagues.
* Ensure project and program development aligns with the organization's values, mission, vision, and strategy.
* Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, licensing requirements, and ethical protocols.
* Collaborate with the performance improvement team to ensure continuous quality improvement and accurate, timely reporting of required data and participate in quality improvement reviews.
* Assist in application and grant submissions as needed for funding opportunities
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
Education: A bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA can be preferred for higher-level roles.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management or a related area, with a proven track record of successfully leading projects. Project management experience in Community Mental Health and/or the Healthcare industry is a plus.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), or similar certifications.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in project management software like MS Project.
Knowledge: Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Familiarity with CCBHC is a plus.
