Job Description: Clinical Lead- Psych Impact Health Psych is an affiliate of Impact Health PC, an independent Nurse Practitioner Group that provides contracted support to skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities throughout the Northeast. Our Psychiatric division operates in Connecticut and currently is developing an aggressive growth plan. Be a part of this exciting opportunity.
  • APRN Lead should have at least 5 years of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) related experience as a psychiatric provider. You will work autonomously and establish yourself as a team leader, influencing colleagues to live up to Impact's high standard of practice. Lead will provide support to fellow NP's and colleagues by assisting with workflows, organization, care plans, medication regimes, treatment and developing overall best practice.
  • support and encourage a creative approach when faced with challenging case(s) or situations that require insight, patience, and diplomacy. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates independence, leadership, and acts as a mentor to their team. The Lead is an ambassador, who possesses strong and effective communication skills and acts as a liaison between Impact Health and their accounts. Working in today's SNF's requires keen insight and ability to anticipate outcomes and put an actionable plan in place to either avoid or achieve those outcomes. You will work with facility Directors/Managers to create process of effective utilization of Psychiatric APRN's, educate facility staff, when necessary, on treatments related to Psychiatric diagnoses and their associated behaviors, medications, and symptoms. The Lead must seamlessly support and provide direction to facility staff that aligns with positive outcomes and initiatives. A strong understanding of policies, procedures, and regulatory State statutes of SNF's is a plus, along with experience related to compliance of coding, billing, prescribing, documentation and conduct.
  • Lead will assist in recruitment and hiring of new APRN's, coordinate and conduct trainings, provide clinical review and oversite to both new and existing practitioners, and work in collaboration with LCSW's, Medical APRN's and physicians. The Lead should be able to independently structure their team in way that is conducive to the company productivity goals, set standards for clinical documentation and compliance of billing practices.
  • This is a full-time position that includes facility assignment of 2-3 days week with remaining time dedicated to Lead responsibility and oversite of team.
