Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ph.D.-level Licensed Psychologist with expertise in evidence-based psychotherapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, as well as versatility other APA-approved therapeutic modalities. The ideal candidate will work in an outpatient setting providing treatment to a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This role emphasizes the integration of innovative and traditional treatment approaches, with a strong commitment to individualized, compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clinical Assessment and Treatment Planning:
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for patients presenting with mood disorders, anxiety disorders (e.g., GAD, OCD, panic disorder), and PTSD.
• Develop individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based therapies, aligning with the specific needs of each patient.
• Utilize standardized diagnostic tools and clinical judgment to evaluate the severity and impact of disorders.
• Therapeutic Interventions:
• Provide individual and group therapy using a range of APA-approved modalities
• Deliver Ketamine-Assisted Therapy

• Incorporate other relevant evidence-based modalities to address the psychological and emotional well-being of patients.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to assess the need for medication adjustments or higher levels of care.
Collaboration and Clinical Rounds:
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team:
• Actively collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Participate in regular clinical rounds to discuss complex cases, share insights, and contribute to treatment adjustments for optimal patient outcomes.
• Engage in continuous communication with team members to coordinate care across disciplines and enhance patient recovery.
Reporting and Leadership:
• Report to Medical Director
• Directly report to the Medical Director for clinical oversight and administrative matters.
• Work closely with the Medical Director to review patient progress, refine therapeutic approaches, and ensure the clinic's treatment protocols align with best practices.
Work-Life Balance:
• No Calls, No Weekends, No Inpatient Coverage:
• This position is designed to promote work-life balance with no on-call duties, no weekend shifts, and no inpatient coverage required, allowing you to focus solely on outpatient care.
Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes using electronic medical records (EMR).

Professional Development:
• Stay current with developments in psychotherapy research and emerging treatments, especially within the areas of mood, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and ketamine-assisted therapies.
• Attend regular training sessions, continuing education workshops, and supervision as required to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from a US accredited program.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted license to practice psychology in NY state.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years postdoctoral experience in an outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in CBT and DBT with strong outcomes in treating mood and anxiety disorders.
• Experience in Ketamine-Assisted Therapy
