Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary ??The Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist contributes to high quality, patient-centered care by identifying candidates for inpatient rehabilitation and initializing timely, appropriate patient transfers. In collaboration with the Rehab Medical Director, the Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist ensures appropriate patient placement through clinical assessments and screening. The Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist serves as an inpatient rehabilitation expert between internal and external referral sources and inpatient rehabilitation operations. The Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for establishing relationships with case managers, physicians, payors, and other referral sources.?

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse, or Licensed Physical Therapist, or Registered Occupational Therapist (ROT), or Speech Pathologist, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree, or Associate Degree
• ?2+ years experience in clinical care ?preferred
• 2+ years experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred
• ?Experience as a clinical evaluator Preferred
