Position

The Patient Enrollment Specialist plays a crucial role in the clinical trial process. You will oftentimes be the first point of contact for many patients in helping them navigate clinical trial opportunities. Some of the people you speak with have never participated in a clinical trial and may be nervous or have a lot of questions, your job is to guide them through the process and make them feel comfortable.

On a day-to-day basis, youll be contacting, screening, and scheduling potential patients into clinical research rials. When speaking with patients youll be confirming interest in the trial, asking qualifying questions, and scheduling them to start in the trial.

Please note that this position will involve frequently being on the phone, and you must be comfortable being on the phone for the majority of your day.

Our client is a clinical research site network with 25 research sites across seven states. Their sites conduct Phase I-IV trials in therapeutic areas like cardiology, metabolic disorders, renal, CNS, pulmonology, and vaccines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a medical, healthcare, or science-related discipline OR previous clinical research patient recruitment experience
  • Proficient knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
