Your organization, time management skills and attention to detail are key in the collaboration, development, and support of hematology and oncology research studies.STATUS: Full Time (40 hours)LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital, Linden Oaks, Unity Hospital, St. Mary's HospitalDEPARTMENT: Lipson Cancer InstituteSCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, DaysATTRIBUTESBachelor's degree in Biology, Clinical Research, Health Informatics, or related field strongly preferred. Equivalent combination of education and prior work experience in Clinical Research or a healthcare setting will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degreeThree (3) years of clinical research experience preferred; experience in a medical setting requiredStrong analytical, computer and communication skillsResearch certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) preferredRESPONSIBILITIESStudy Management. Register, compile and submit data; monitor research study compliance; maintain a system for effective research data flow and regulatory documentation; open and maintain clinical studies for subject accrual; prepare, submit and file appropriate regulatory documents; update consent form and protocol documentsPatient Care & Enrollment. Assist in enrolling patients in clinical studies and obtain necessary clinical information; evaluate patient eligibility for participation; review charts of new and returning patients; flag charts of eligible patients for MD review; facilitate recruitment of study subjectsMonitoring & Auditing. Prepare materials for monitor visits and audits; assist investigators in finding/correcting any missing information; obtain and submit sponsor x-rays, operative reports, laboratory, pathology or other specialized reports as needed; obtain data from outside physicians for data collection and submissionEDUCATION:BS (Required)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.PAY RANGE: $20.50 - $27.50The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
