Job Title: Research CoordinatorJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team at the Respiratory Institute as a Research Coordinator, where you will play a critical role in supporting our respiratory research efforts. This position involves regulatory tasks, data entry, managing monitor visits, and conducting patient visits. You will be part of a dedicated team working on a variety of studies, contributing to the advancement of respiratory health research.ResponsibilitiesConduct 3-5 patient visits per week for the entire team, with personal visits ranging from 1-3 per week after initial shadowing.Perform data entry and regulatory tasks, including EMR-Epic documentation, billing compliance data entry, and resolving queries.Coordinate monitor visits, including setting up and arranging meetings with CRO/Sponsors, preparing binders, and hosting visits both in-person and online.Maintain regulatory binders, track CVs and licenses, and submit IRB applications.Screen patients weekly for eligibility, verifying inclusion/exclusion criteria, and assisting with patient referrals.Work on multiple studies, starting with one and eventually managing 2-3 studies.Essential SkillsClinical research experience, including consenting patients, conducting patient visits, regulatory tasks, and managing data.Bachelor's degree.Proficiency in data management, regardless of the system used (e.g., Medidata, Epic).Experience in phlebotomy, EKG, and respiratory research.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in patient recruitment and pre-screening.Familiarity with regulatory submission processes.Work EnvironmentThe work environment offers some flexibility, allowing you to work from home one day a week after completing 90 days of onboarding and demonstrating independence. Onsite work will be at the main campus in Euclid, where parking fees are required. The role involves working with very sick patients, focusing on improving their quality of life through ongoing relationships and multiple study participations.
