Funding is subject to annual renewal. This position's primary function is to serve as a Coordinator for the grant(s) funding the position.This position is full time, non-exempt and health insurance eligible. The pay range for this position is $31.39 - $44.32/hour. Pay is determined based on relevant experience and department equity.Responsibilities* Provide support and ensure site compliance with the Grant Proposal* Assemble / process / coordinate approval for The Home Office and local Human Subjects Committees* Organize and provide training in the use of assessment tools* Obtain consent from subjects and administer tools at SHCNC* Maintain ongoing communication between participants, including organizing meetings and facilitating conference calls, to ensure compliance with project deadlines* Perform chart reviews for eligible patients* Manuscript development* Assist in the development of annual progress reports and IRB renewals* Maintain current knowledge on Federal, local, and institutional clinical research regulatory requirements.This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.QualificationsPreferred:* 1 year of clinical research experience* Knowledge of scientific concepts related to the design and analysis of clinical trials* Ability to prioritize care of patients, aspects of human subject protection, and safety in the conduct of a clinical trial* Knowledge of how drugs, devices and biologicals are developed and regulated* Previous experience with study management, safety management and handling of investigational product* Experience with study and site management, including the financial and personnel aspects* Understanding of teamwork skills necessary for conducting a clinical trial including all elements of communication within the site and between the site, sponsor and regulators* Previous experience with how data is acquired and managed during a clinical trial, including source data, data entry, queries, quality control and the concept of a locked database* Ability to demonstrate leadership and professionalism* Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite and verbal and written communication skills.
