How You'll Make an Impact By joining CCSD and CSS, you'll play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care and expertise to our patients and clients. Together, we'll continue to set the bar for excellence in dermatology, plastic surgery, and skincare.The Supervisor of Research works with the research staff and the Directors of Research to oversee the company while performing high-level cosmetic and dermatologic clinical trials, all phases. The supervisor aligns with the strategic goal to transform the practice of clinical research and the operational goal to strengthen clinical trials. CCDR will be a hub to connect study teams to the resources they need within the practice in addition to interacting with sponsors. Provides work direction, education, orientation, and operational problem solving within the work unit on a day-to-day basis and communicates and coordinates activities with management. Ensures completion of contract requirements & client specifications. The position will provide significant input into the development of SOPs and training programs for clinical/research staff. This position works on policies and procedures for the research department to ensure proper conduct of clinical trials. Assists with determining goals, objectives, outcome measurements and metrics, financial feasibility, and collaboration opportunities as it relates to clinical research with other internal and external organizations. Requirements:Oversees day-to-day operations including identifying & securing needed resources; creating, implementing, monitoring, & updating project plans; facilitating meetings with appropriate parties; tracking tasks/deliverables to ensure timelines, milestones &/or goals are attained; monitoring & reporting progress as appropriate; & resolving or escalating issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to understand and maintain discretion and confidentiality related to all aspects of the trial.
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and Good Documentation Practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport, navigate sensitive topics, and maintain confidentiality with a diverse pool of research participants and sponsors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current NIH and/or FDA regulations and guidelines related to clinical research.
- Strong project management skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical decision makings and professional judgement.

Education:
- Master's degree: or appropriate combination of education and experience, research study or other relevant experience required
- At least 2 years of experience in the research field
- Good Clinical Practice Certification
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
