Summary
Reporting to the Practice Manager, and/or Clinical Leader, and under the direction of the provider, delivers patient care including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation; provides training to clinical staff and is recognized as a resource to clinical and administrative staff.
Education
Two years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Associates Degree).
Certification, Registration & Licensure
Licensure required: Registered Nurse Licensure through the State of New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
Certification required: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers.
Experience
Minimum of one year as a Registered Nurse in a medical or acute-care setting.
Responsibilities
* Coordinates educational and training programs for all clinical staff.
* Develops and implements clinical protocols and work flows.
* Performs both physical and psychosocial assessments.
* Triages patient phone calls.
* Documents into the patient electronic medical record.
* Provides education to patients.
* Administers prescribed medications.
* Completes practice and unit specific clinical skill competencies.
