Assists in overseeing unit budget and operations ensuring quality patient care and cost-effectiveness. Assists Operational Manager in the implementation of clinic strategic goals. Assists Operational Manager with employee performance issues and conducts performance evaluations in conjunction with Operations Manager. As needed, provides clinical care. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental and divisional nursing philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives.EDUCATION/TRAINING: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Two years healthcare supervisory experience preferred. Requirements may vary based on clinic specialty.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois. Bi-annual CPR required.EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Strong leadership, training and organizational skills. Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff within the organization and community.
