KBR's Defense System's Engineering, Naval Solutions Division is looking to add a Clinical Social Worker [Command Resiliency Coordinator (CRC)] to our team supporting the Surface Warfare Engineering School Command (SWESC) in Chicago, IL/Great Lakes, IL. We are looking for compassionate, innovative, and highly motivated individuals to enhance the mental health and resilience of military personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, a passion for helping others, and the ability to foster a supportive environment. You will play a vital role in implementing wellness programs and providing direct support to sailors, making a meaningful impact on their lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* As the CRC, you'll act as a key liaison with the SWESC Chaplain, Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC), Drug and Alcohol Program Advisor (DAPA), and Family Advocacy Coordinators, fostering collaboration and effective command-level responses. Reporting directly to the Commanding Officer (CO), you will have the opportunity to brief on important cases, training initiatives, and any high-risk concerns that may arise.

* The Command Resiliency Coordinator oversees the command's Resiliency Programs, including Suicide Prevention, Family Advocacy, and the Human Factors Council, while providing administrative oversight and data collection for the Commanding Officer.

* Design, supervise, and deliver a range of wellness programs for staff and students, tailoring instruction to specific needs. Develop written guidelines for command programs and provide mental health guidance for necessary training throughout the year. Conduct individual short-term therapy and collaborate with command representatives to implement positive mental health initiatives, maintaining comprehensive records for the Command Resiliency Program.

* Participate in the check-in process to ensure all Sailors understand available resources, accurately explaining mental health services within the command and local community. Provide literature and guidance as needed.

* Draft and distribute official command notifications regarding mental health and resiliency events. Collaborate with the chain of command and collateral-duty holders to establish programs and events, ensuring maximum participation and successful outcomes, with final approvals resting with the Commanding Officer. Promptly report any situations to the Commanding Officer via the Executive Officer. Oversee the Human Factors Council for students and staff in collaboration with the SWESC Chaplain/RMT, ensuring proper briefing and follow-up for designated Sailors. Maintain familiarity with program requirements (Suicide Prevention, SAPR, and FAP) and provide subject matter expertise as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent is preferred.

* At least 10 years of clinical social work experience is required.

* Preferred licensure and/or certification in social work or a related field.

Citizenship & Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience in military or defense settings.

* Familiarity with mental health resources and program implementation strategies.

* Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

* Understanding of military protocols and the unique challenges faced by servicemembers.

* Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

Compensation: $83,000-$126,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
