Position Title: CLINICAL SUPERVISOR Reports to: ASSISTANT CLINICAL DIRECTORDepartment: CLINICAL General DescriptionAt the full professional level and under the general direction of the Assistant Clinical Director, the ClinicalSupervisor supervises and coordinates multidisciplinary and ancillary support staff in the provision of mentalhealth services to clients. Provides daily administrative oversight to the team, with technical supervision oflicensed clinical staff exercised in accordance with scope-of-practice guidelines.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesA. Essential Duties1. Responsible and accountable for team's success as measured by Key Performance Indicators.2. Leveraging KPI data and reporting weekly.3. Provide individual and group supervision4. Respond to emails from staff within a 24-hour time frame5. Facilitate and participle in weekly meetings.6. Ensure all supervisees complete the required trainings as mandated by state regulations and JointCommission Standards.7. Communicate and train clinicians on changes/updates to policy and procedure and ensure staff-widecompliance.8. Completion of monthly chart audits to ensure accuracy of clinical documentation.9. Conduct timely performance evaluations according to regulations for all supervised staff10. Training and onboarding of new clinicians11. Manage all time off requests and administrative functions relating to supervising a team12. Ensuring coverage for staff when needed13. Other duties as assigned to meet client, staff and employer needsOverview of Clinical Supervisor job functions which include clinical and administrative oversight of licensedtherapists:1. Direct supervision of Clinicians:a. Facilitate and document individual and group Clinical Supervisionb. Leading weekly clinical meetingsc. Therapist coaching and training e.g., Performance reviews, corrective action, caseconceptualizationd. Oversight of clinician schedule, capacity, and retention2. Direct Care to Clients:a. 2-4 client sessions per week3. Administration:a. On call responsibilities, approximately once per monthb. Onboarding/training of newly hired cliniciansc. Review and sign of associate licensed clinician notes in EHR within 72 hours of submissiond. Clinician training 4. Leadership, Management and Accountability: a. Lead team to complete tasks and goals. b. Maintain the mission and values of the company and leading team members to complete tasks that bring them close to the achievement of these goals. c. Enforcing quality standards and provide valuable feedback to team and upper management on potential improvements d. Resolving conflicts and complaints from employees and clients e. Analyzing information and processes and developing more effective to efficient processes and strategies f. Generating reports and presenting information to upper management and other parties as directed or monitor team performance and report on metrics g. Create a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere h. Effectively communicate with team regarding performance i. Discovery training needs and provide coaching j. Plan and organize team activities B. Additional Duties 1. Assists and covers other staff when necessary to maintain high productivity and efficiency in the department. 2. Participates in educational training, orientations, or compliance programs as needed to maintaincompetency. Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time. Must have strong computer skills to meet Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record software requirements.QualificationsEducation: Master's Degree and Full Licensure in state of practice, Supervisor credential at time of hire or within1 year of offer acceptanceExperience: 1+ years' experience at a supervisory level working in a Mental Health Treatment Facility or trainingin lieu of. Computer literate: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
