Clinical Supervisor of Rehabilitation Services - Full-time Opportunity

  • Mixed opening and closing shifts (operating hours of 7am-8pm) with rotating Saturdays

Site consists of 4 clinical providers, inclusive of PT/PTA.

  • Physical Therapy License REQUIRED
  • Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, REQUIRED. Master's/Doctorate Degree, proffered

General Summary: 85% clinical/15% administrative. Supervises and coordinates the daily operation of staff, including the monitoring/administration of patient evaluations and quality of care in accordance with the written and signed prescription and/or referral of a state authorized practitioner.

  • 2+ years of experience in the outpatient orthopedic setting preferred but not required
  • Experience and proficiency in using an electronic medical record (EMR)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of staff
  • Completes performance appraisals in a detailed and timely manner
  • Coordinates patient scheduling
  • Participates in the development and implementation of pertinent policies and procedures
  • Participates in the creation of annual operating budget
  • Supervises quality assurance activities and maintains related documentation
  • Ensures the operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Administration of direct patient care.
  • Designs and implements personalized and evidence-based intervention programs to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Submits required documentation in accordance with the policies and procedures of the department.
  • Participates in quality improvement chart reviews and activities.
  • Performs related duties, as required.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Physical Therapy, required. Master s/Doctorate Degree, preferred.
  • Must be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
  • Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience, including one (1) year in supervisory or lead experience, required
