Job Description:
Alternative Consulting Enterprises (ACE) is looking for a Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical supervision of the assigned clinical unit, and directly supervising the clinical unit counseling staff. This position also provides clinical therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with an identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Supervises clinical staff and ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures. Maintains a safe environment providing quality of client care.
  • Is responsible for reviewing and approving outpatient therapist progress notes and services
  • Ensures clinical staff develops individualized treatment plans for assigned clients. Supervises the review of the treatment plans outlining both long and short-term goals to be achieved by clients.
  • Provides therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client's optimal functioning
  • Conducts intake assessments with client and family members utilizing appropriate intake materials and continually assesses client needs, service availability and appropriateness.
  • Will complete quarterly quality reviews for clinical staff
  • Maintains a caseload and schedule that enables hitting productivity of 65% or higher
  • Provides individual and family sessions to the client and family member within the assigned office building
  • Communicate with the Clinical lead in creating an agenda for monthly clinical supervision meetings
  • Participates in case consultation with Clinical lead for high risk or challenging cases and is similarly a resource for other staff
  • Documents direct service delivery and submits documentation
  • Provides therapeutic interventions to the identified client to enhance and foster the client's optimal functioning
  • Works cooperatively with treatment team members and the family in the provision of services
  • Observes HIPPA compliant practice with regard to in person and telehealth services
  • Provides clinical documentation that is ethical and supported by treatment goals
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Ensures each new employee completes New Employee Orientation within specified timeframe and according to agency policies and procedures.
  • Engages in professional development. Responsible for keeping current in the field. Completes seminars and/or continuing education programs, as appropriate to update knowledge about mental health services. Maintains professional licenses, and certifications.
  • Promotes professional development for staff. Encourage staff to keep current in the field.
  • Maintains confidentiality, proper boundaries and an ethical relationship with clients and co-workers accordingly to Company's policies
  • Provides Departmental Orientation concerning Clinical Services and duties to new hired counselors.
  • Ensures that all clinical services, operating areas, and staff are in keeping with regulatory agency requirements, policies, and procedures relative to safety and security.
  • Interviews, selects, trains, coaches and develops key subordinates ensuring consistent application of Agency's
  • policies and procedures while providing an orderly succession of qualified people.
  • Performs other duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to manage emotional situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Organizational skills
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to deal with diverse populations
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
  • 1-2 years of supervisory role
  • Ability to train, mentor, and evaluate multiple level clinical staff
  • Excellent writing skills and record keeping skills
Educational Requirements
  • Master's degree in a Mental Health field (e.g.: Social Work, Psychology, Counseling)
  • Licensed by the State of Pennsylvania as a LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist
