The Clinical Supervisor works within the Residential Rehabilitation Services (RRS)'s team model, establishing open communication, support, and accountability among staff and residents. This person will answer to the Program Director. They will provide individual and group supervision to all staff while supporting these staff in developing skills in responding to complex issues such as co-occurring disorders and trauma.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide clinical and administrative supervision of the home-based programs, assuring implementation and documentation of all service components, including periodic status reports.Provide regularly scheduled individual (weekly) and team supervision as needed.Provide case consultation as needed.Assign new cases to team members as needed.Create agenda, coordinate and ensure that minutes are completed for semimonthly team meetings.Monitor the development/implementation of strength-based treatment plans and safety plans for all families. Such plans will include behavior modification therapy and crisis intervention and linkage to needed supportive services.Ensure adequate staff coverage to serve the needs of the program.Maintain established professional standards for the documentation of clinical work.Implement and monitor systems to assure proper documentation for billing MCEs and other pay sources.Assure program compliance with MBHP and other MCEs guidelines including staffing patterns, service capacity, utilization and accessibility.Accompany staff to home visits, meetings with collaterals, etc. when clinically or administratively needed.Manage and supervise provision of emergency response and intensive outreach to families in order to assist them in stabilizing children and adolescents within their home during a psychiatric crisis.Lead trainings and/or help plan them.Assign cases for high-risk meetings.Attend monthly high-risk meetings and ensure that team members are prepared to present cases.Ensure that Chart Reviews are completed following MCEs or other regulatory agencies specifications.Make sure that Clinical Reviews are completed on a timely fashion following MCEs or other regulatory agencies specificationsEnsure that staff adheres to the Policy and Procedure 1.4 Medical Records Standards and Chart Review/Audits.Train and provide support to staff in the use of the Paperwork Deadline Tracker to ensure that documentation deadlines are met consistently.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum Experience required: 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.Experience in working with youth and families in a therapeutic/Clinical setting.Independently Licensed in Massachusetts in a mental health field (LMHC, LICSW, LADCI, LMFT).Possess a master's degree in a human services field from an accredited university that meets MCE credentialing requirements.Bilingual Preferred (Spanish/English)The Gándara Mental Health Center provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
