Provide coverage for team when the Manager of Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health services is absent. Actively contribute as a clinician on a team providing outpatient behavioral health services. Engage clients in treatment planning and motivational enhancement that leads them towards attaining positive change in their lives. Provides individual, group and family treatment that targets improvement in functional impairments.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide mental health assessments that identify service needs and recommend options for careShare assessment findings with clientsInvolve client and/or family in the development of treatment plan goals, objectives, and interventions that address their assessed behavioral health needsProvide individual, family, and group therapy serviceProvide case management services to assist clients, and their families with access to needed benefits and servicesProvide coordinated care by initiating or participating in client centered consultation with internal and external providers involved in care or servicesReassess and review treatment progress with clients and their families at proscribed intervalsProvide crisis assessments and interventions for Child & Adolescent clients when needed, provide support to team members, as well as, assist in crisis assessments and interventions.Assist in establishing effective communication between the Center, other social agencies serving clients, and the communityProvide administrative and clinical supervision, as well as, interviewing, hiring, training and onboarding to full-time and part-time Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health therapists, including clinical direction and assistance with treatment planning and service deliveryProvide performance evaluation for full-time and part time supervisees building on strengths and identifying ongoing growth/training needs.Performance RequirementsWork cooperatively with Child and Adolescent Services team members to assure clients timely access to quality servicesMeet agency quality and compliance standard by accurately completing clinical documentation and service reporting in a timely mannerMeet or exceed service productivity expectationsImplement evidenced based practices to ensure use of effective and efficient treatment that best address client needsParticipation in staff training and development seminarsWorking cooperatively with other Center teams and programs to maintain smooth continuity of care when cases are shared across teamsBecome familiar with and utilization of outside resources as needed to provide comprehensive services to clientsParticipate in supervision with Manager of Behavioral Health/Child and Adolescent Services and in regular performance appraisals as directedUnderstand the different funding sources available to the population served and the requirements for billing each of the funding sourcesEducation and ExperienceMaster's degree from an accredited college or University in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline and be licensed or eligible for certification.LCSW/LCPC licensure required. Willing to accept LPC/LSW with eligibility for clinical licensure within 6 months of hire.3 years of supervisory experience preferredMust have 5 years of supervised experience in providing counseling and/or psychotherapy servicesMust demonstrate knowledge in the areas of diagnostic assessment, long and short term treatment, family systems theory and group treatmentMust have basic computer and keyboarding skillsSchedule/TimekeepingFull Time - Exempt, 37.5 hours per weekThe therapist must be prepared to work a flexible schedule in response to the needs of the target population served.
