Position Summary:We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator. In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for assisting the Clinical Supply Chain Assistant Manager in the control of inventory supplies for Perioperative Services Electrophysiology Lab Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Radiology Assists in accomplishing facility inventory turn goals and other inventory related objectives within the department including but not limited to accurate recommended reorder points reorder quantities limit out of stock issues and increasing use of consignment and ongoing evaluation of supply movement Implements strategies that will financially and administratively enhance service and utilizes the functioning of the department maximizing all resources available to accomplish its goals Also responsible for first line supervision of all Clinical Supply Chain activities the coordination of delivery of medical surgical supplies as well working with vendors for loaner/consignment products to the Surgical and Procedural Suites The coordinator has authority to initiate consignment agreements based and make decisions based on ordering patterns and history

Minimum Qualifications:To qualify you must have a Bachelor s degree in a related field 1 year of relevant experience or a combination of similar education and experience Knowledge of Clinical Supply/Materials Management general operations Strong skills related to the management of inventory control responsible of progressive work experiences in supply distribution Knowledge of specific health care products Current membership and active participation in a relevant professional organizations Must possess computer knowledge Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors Degree preferred 1 2 years of EPIC/patient scheduling experience 2 3 years of Operating Room/Supply Chain/Sterile Processing experience Certification in Materials Resources CMRP Experience in computerized inventory control with an emphasis on medical/surgical supplies Peoplesoft 9 preferred

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $62,400.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
