The General Surgery Administrative Assistant will support in overseeing the daily operations of the hospitals General Surgery department. Additionally, they will work closely with hospital management and administration, to provide leadership to the department on a daily basis.

This is a Full-Time position (PT available).

Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Temporary needs. Please consider applying to discuss how your availability may align.

• Collaborate with the General Surgery leadership team to maintain smooth flow of daily operations
• Manage next day's general surgery schedule, collaborating with medical and administrative professionals to assure proper case order, arrival times, and preference cards are in place.
• Handle the scheduling of same day and next day add-ons.
• Answer phones and relay messages between and within departments.
• Check to ensure all charts for next day surgeries are available to PreOp staff.
