Job Type Full-timeDescription This position is responsible for providing direct services including individual, couple, family and group therapeutic service to patients, including assessments and treatment plans. The Clinical Therapist counsels and provides crisis intervention for emotional and behavioral problems including coaching on how to manage ongoing health conditions and therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes. This position will primarily be serving the Webster and Frederic communities Provide counseling, psychotherapy and direct services as needed.
- Enforces integrity of patient rights and provides all services within the parameters of patients' rights, federal, state or local
- Refers patient to other services as needed for patient assessment and progress
- Performs required documentation of patient records in a timely and accurate manner
- Utilizes appropriate therapy formats based on patient assessment and need
- Maintain assigned caseload
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including external partners; Addresses referrals from providers

- Maintain client privacy and confidentiality; Does not share client information without written informed consent from the client-guardian or parent per Wisconsin state administrative code or in compliance with court order
- Reports violations of ethical behavior

- Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work or related field from an accredited university
- Current Licensed Profession Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist license (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
- Training and Experience in Co-occurring addictive disorders and/or Certification as Substance Abuse Counselor Desirable but not Required
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years post-licensure experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction and manage multiple demands and priorities
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
