Qualifications
  • Active Florida License in field of study preferred (LCSW, RMHCI)
  • Master's Degree preferred in lieu of license
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or health related field
  • Current CPR Certification or must be obtained
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training or must be obtained
  • Previous work in substance abuse or mental health treatment as primary therapist
Essential Job Function of the Clinical Therapist - Compass and Empower Program
  • Screens for psychoactive substance toxicity, intoxication, and withdrawal symptoms.
  • Analyzes and interprets data to determine treatment recommendations and priorities.
  • Formulates mutually agreed-upon, measurable treatment goals and objections.
  • Demonstrates adherence to accepted ethical and behavioral standards of conduct.
  • Conducts individual, family and group sessions.
  • Documents individual, family, referent, and group notes per policy
  • Provide family education and counseling as indicated and documents accordingly.
  • Exhibits cheerfulness, positive and friendliness to co-workers, patients, and visitors
