HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACTThe Day Treatment Therapist provides site based mental health psychotherapy and other intensive therapeutic interventions for adults diagnosed with mental illness and co-occurring disorders. The Duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Facilitate and co-facilitate Day Treatment programming with various therapeutic interventions focused on stabilizing client's mental health status and developing and/or improving client's independent living, vocational, and socialization skills.
  • Conduct diagnostics and therapy with individuals, and groups in an out-patient Day Treatment setting
  • Facilitate or Co-facilitate Group and Individual psychotherapy; engage in consultation and collaboration with family and community providers as client wishes, provide clinical recommendations and community referrals to help support client recovery.
  • Complete Diagnostic Assessments and DA updates as required for clients following current DHS guidelines.
  • Perform administrative and professional responsibilities
  • Maintain current knowledge of the mental health service system and the ability to locate information and resources for a variety of client needs such as: mental health, medical, housing, vocational, and social services system.
RequirementsWHAT YOU'LL NEEDClinical Trainee
  • Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Working towards licensure as an LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT
  • Clearance from DHS and sexual exploitations screening.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
Mental Health Professional
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Licensed as an LP, LICSW, LMFT or LPCC
  • Clearance from DHS and sexual exploitations screening
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART
  • Two years' experience in psychotherapy
  • Experience facilitating and/or teaching in a group setting
