The Clinical Transition Specialist has clinical responsibility as a facility trainer, working one-on-one with Directors of Nursing on site for orientation and coordination. Responsibilities
- Work with facilities in transition between directors of nursing to maintain Ciena standards and survey readiness.
- Assist with survey preparation and response.
- Assist facilities in transition with policy and procedure development.
- Work with new facility acquisitions to transition to Ciena programs in accordance with Ciena standard, current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facilities, and as may be directed by the Director of Clinical Services to ensure that the highest degrees of quality care is maintained at all times.
Education/Experience:
- RN license in the state.
- Experience as a Regional Nurse or Director of Nursing.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
- Must be available for overnight travel and/or away from home for periods.
