Job DescriptionClinician (Behavioral Health) - TempSunshine Staffing is currently seeking Clinicians (Behavioral Health) for a telehealth position with a public agency! We are looking for Clinicians (Behavioral Health) who are committed and passionate about providing support. The Clinician (Behavioral Health) is a responsible, organized individual who can aid in coordinating activities between providers and staff to ensure the best quality of care for the patient.Responsibilities:•Completes telephonic behavioral health assessments and triages for members with behavioral health needs.•Coordinates referrals to County Mental Health Plan for members who may need additional mental health and/or behavioral health case management support.•Coordinates and collaborates between behavioral health providers, health networks, and departments for problem resolution and service integration, including providing consultations on resolving complex case management issues and serving on the treatment team.•Participates in bi-weekly clinical team meetings.•Supports members in navigating the behavioral health systems of care.•Builds, and maintains relationships with the County of Orange, providers, health networks, community-based organizations, and other key stakeholders.•Educates staff, health networks, providers, and members on behavioral health issues and available resources.•Other projects and duties as assigned.Possess the Ability to:•Work in a team environment, be flexible, and adapt to change.•Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.•Establish and maintain effective working relationships with CalOptima leadership and staff.•Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.•Analyze information and prepare concise clinical documentation.•Work with all levels of staff to identify and problem-solve contracted provider issues.•Follow through on projects with minimal supervision or guidance.•Utilize computer and appropriate software (e.g., Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and job specific applications/systems to produce correspondence, charts, spreadsheets, and/or other information applicable to the position assignment.Knowledge of:•Culture and needs of the socially and ethnically diverse population CalOptima serves.•Principles and practices of health care, healthcare systems, and Managed Care.•Medi-Cal benefits and regulations.•Health plan, hospital and medical group operations and strategies.•Community-based organizations, agencies, and community services.Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field of study is required.Current, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage Family Therapy (MFT) license to practice in the State of California required.3 years of related experience, e.g., Clinician experience, is required.Bilingual in English and in one of the company's threshold language (Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Farsi, Korean, Chinese) is preferred.At Sunshine Enterprise USA LLC, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits:•Competitive pay & weekly paychecks•Health, dental, vision, and life insurance•401(k) savings plan•Awards and recognition programs•Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.Sunshine Enterprise USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer-Minorities, Females, Veterans and Disabled Persons
