The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We strive toempower children and families to achieve optimal health and well being. We are currently seeking a Clinicianto work in our Unaccompanied Children Program.$3,000 hiring bonus to be paid out incrementally over the course of 1 year. Subject to tax withholdings and appropriate 403b deductions, contributions and payroll deductions.Position Summary:The Clinician will conduct mental health assessments, screen for human trafficking concerns, and provide crisis intervention services. Additionally they will be responsible for intake assessments, and will provide weekly therapy to the youth and to facilitate group therapy. The Clinician is also responsible to provide clinical guidance to both the case managers and direct care staff, as needed. They will provide additional professional support at treatment team meetings concerning mental health and behavioral issues.Schedule:Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with rotating on-call responsibilitiesThe Children's Home offers an outstanding benefit package which includes weekly pay, medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 403(b), tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and a great work environment! Paid time off includes 4 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days, 12 holidays and 9 sick days annually.MINIMUM:The clinician must have a Masters Degree in social work, with clinical experience in the program, or Masters Degree in psychology, social work or mental health counseling.
