A health services network in New Jersey is currently seeking a licensed professional to join one of their federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in Atlantic City as a Clinician. In this role, the Clinician (LCSW / LPC / MFT) will be responsible for providing in-home therapeutic services for children and families. About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Patient Population: Children and families
- Patient Volume: 5 cases
Responsibilities: The Clinician (LCSW / LPC / MFT) will:
- Schedule and conduct family and/or individual therapy sessions in-home or if requested by family in another location or virtually
- Complete training in the evidence -based model and completes adoption certification
- Execute assessments and all necessary case record documentation/forms
- Input all data within the tracking system to monitor change (improvement or decline)
- Collaborate with child study teams, hospital programs and other collateral providers, as clinically appropriate and permitted, to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide additional clinical/therapeutic services as appropriate to situation and ethics
- Participate in team meetings and individual supervisory meetings on a regular basis (as appropriate and needed)
- Act as a promoter and ambassador of the program and the agency within the community
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an LCSW, LPC, or MFT
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Children and Families
- Experience with foster care and loss issues
