Job DescriptionAre you interested in working with children and adolescents? Would you like to work in a school setting while providing client centered mental health support to local students? Are you interested in a team approach and collaborating with others?Seeking clinicians (LMHP or LMHP-E) to provide Outpatient Services to children and adolescents in the local public schools as a part of our School Based Mental Health Program. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package. Services may include, but are not limited to: clinical assessments, individual and family therapy, and service coordination. The School Based Outpatient team provides evidence-based treatment approaches to address trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. New River Valley Community Services provides weekly individual supervision and opportunities for ongoing group supervision. We are looking for individuals who possess an in-depth knowledge of the varied needs of youth and who are excited to work with a multidisciplinary team and communicate and collaborate effectively with school personnel and other mental health providers. Clinician I: $46,706-Depending on ExperienceClinician II: $56,518-Depending on ExperienceEducation Requirements: Clinician I: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other license-eligible human services field is required. Required to register and become and become licensed-eligible with Virginia Board of Counseling upon hire. If licensed, must be credentialed with insurance companies to meet billing requirements.Clinician II: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other license-eligible human services field is required. State of Virginia professional licensure is required in social work, marriage and family therapy or other related field. Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
