Social Worker Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients to identify mental health needs
- Develop treatment plans and provide evidence-based psychotherapy to patients with mental health concerns
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care to patients
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and their families during times of acute stress or trauma
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Conduct outreach and education to patients and their families regarding mental health resources and services
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for mental health services
- Attend relevant trainings and maintain current knowledge of mental health treatments, interventions, and resources
- Provide clinical supervision to social work interns or staff as needed
Social Worker Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LMFT/LCAT/LMHC)
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience providing mental health services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy interventions and crisis intervention techniques
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
