A multidisciplinary youth ACT program is looking for Clinician II to join their team in upstate NY! This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team that is starting a new and valuable service for youth and families where the youth have serious mental health issues.The individual selected must be comfortable working in community settings such as the youth's home and school. About the Opportunity: M-F Daytime hours (flex). Team approach and whole team can support clients. Thorough safety assessments of homes and ability to pair staff if needed. Buddy system in place for check-ins. Office/remote/field. 1 office day and must meet team every day remotely. 3 office days 2 remote. Clinical supervision provided. Responsibilities: Operate collaboratively as part of an intensive multi-disciplinary treatment team Demonstrate ability to diagnose and treat children/youth and families Responsible for assessment and delivery of quality mental health care to the youth and families that are served. Act as a member of an inter-disciplinary team to develop, assess, and modify the individual service plan.Provide individual and group therapy, including structured and process groups, within a variety of settings, based on group/client needs Depending on level of experience, will provide clinical consultation and training to staff Act as the primary contact for the service plan with the ability to expertly and succinctly communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing. Requirements//Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling with a valid NYS Professional license. Minimum of 3+ years of relevant clinical experience working with youth and families with mental health challenges. Experience with crisis diffusion and management Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT Skills training (any and all of these, is a plus but not {required}) Thorough knowledge of services provided, well developed advocacy skills, knowledge and understanding of payment processes for services
