Job Type Full-timeDescriptionClinician III is accountable for assessing and providing general and specific treatment to individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse difficulties, including abuse of tobacco, alcohol, or other drugs. The clinician's III job role is to assist clients to transition out of addiction or untreated mental health issues and into recovery by providing effective therapeutic interventions, salient educational skills and ample opportunities for meaningful client self-discovery. A clinician III may also collaborate with the program director to enhance programmatic improvements and implement innovative or specialized services where feasible.We are an approved HRSA loan repayment location. We offer 13 paid holidays (day after Thanksgiving included), company matching retirement, Health Insurance, and Paid time off.Requirements
  • DPH Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC, LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LPCA)
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Five years of professional counseling experience; or a combination of a degree in a related field and professional experience.
  • Evidence of knowledge of the dynamics of chemical dependency rehabilitation, resources available to the chemically dependent, and appreciate of the self-help groups.
  • Must demonstrate appreciation and willingness to develop continuing skills towards multicultural competency within a behavioral health setting.
  • Must be a growth-oriented person willing to set and work toward professional goals.
  • Must demonstrate good emotional stability, maturity, warmth and openness.
  • Must have driver's license and motor vehicle.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Experience with Federal probation preferred.
